The Kramer FM6/FM4 cables are high-performance cables with a 6-pin FireWire® connector at one end and a 4-pin connector at the other.
They are used primarily for data transfer (IEEE 1394) at speeds up to 400Mbps between multimedia devices such as digital cameras, VCRs, CD drives, hard disks, scanners, graphic cards and editing systems.
They are constructed using two separately double-shielded data cables and a 22 gauge pair for power transmission, all in an overall double-shielded outer jacket, have a moulded six pin connector at one end and a four pin at the other and are available in 5 different lengths.
